Buenos Dias!
Wow it is July...whhhhhat? Yep, it's true. What a great time to be on a mission. Honestly. :-) So June went by super fast...maybe because I ride so fast on my bici. Who knows?! Alrighty where to begin, where to begin. Well, I guess from the begining is usually good. First things first.

Wow 24 huh? You get older and older each year....oh wait so do I. Well, feliz cumple. expect something...later.

So I can't remember if I told about the family Hna Erickson and I found. We had been street contacting and getting nothin. So we stood on the sidewalk along this busy street and said a prayer asking that we find at least someone that is prepared to listen to our message. We opened our eyes, and there, right in front of us was a family walking towards us...well in our direction, I'm sure they weren't coming to talk to us hahaha. There was a mom, 2 YW and a baby. They were on their way to the library. We talked to them and The mom was kina iffy on it but after a while said we could come over. They gave the address but we didn't know where it was. Anyway, the last week erickson was here we went to go find the apt. We did...eventually hahaha we don't have GPS hahahahaha so we talked to them for a bit and they said we could come back. so when hna Zepeda came, we taught the restoration. They were very interested, but the family didn't live in our area...so this last week we introduced them to the elders so they could teach them. They read and prayed. The mom, Reina, is super into taking action to find out if the message is true. Seriously, they are a miracle. We prayed that day and God answered our prayers. It was hard to give the family to the elders because I wanted to teach them so bad. The spirit was so strong when we taught them. It couldn't have gone better. But I understand. They live 30 secs from our apt...but it's not our area so elder rowely and troy will teach them. I'm excited for them and so happy.
Hna Zepeda and I have bing knocking dooooooorrrs sooo much. Wow. We are in a finding process. We are moving our feet and on the path to finding people, so God will bless us when it's the right time with someone prepared to hear our message. God has blessed us so much. I am so blessed, and so grateful so such a merciful Father in Heaven. He not only hears my prayers, but he listens. He will never give us something that we will not be able to conquer. I've learned that. Is it hard? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. God has given us all the tools to become strong and happier people. What is it that hinders us? Laziness. Yep, it's true. Hna and I taught 33 lessons this week, and have tan lines that are beyond beautiful :-) hahaha
HEY GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?! I got your package on wed! Thank you so much, that was super nice. I loved it! The mailman was like I bet you've been waiting for this ;-) hehehe funny. I loved that package. thanks for it. MUCH appreciated.
We taught a new investigator, Irene. At the end of the lesson (plan of salvation) she started crying and said there was something different about us. That she had learned from many people, but that there was something special about us. It was really good to hear someone verbally say that through tears. It was a spiritual moment I think for us all. Now it's to see if she is going to progress. I hope so! One thing I have learned but not quite understood is the fact that when you read the biblia about the 10 commandments, it says right there to NOT have any other Gods OR to pray to anyone else BUT GOD. So why do people pray to other things...idols, when they believe in the biblia? hmmm.
VISITING TEACHING. Why do it? Well, it is a demonstration of your willingness to remember the convenats you have made WITH GOD to act. Same with home teaching. Simple.
I had a GREAT revelation, or though about trials. I DESERVE TRAILS. I never thought I'd say that. But I want them.I deserve to go through things so that I am prepared for whatever God has to give me. You don't feel very accomplished if you didn't have to work hard for it huh? I hope that all made sense. Now that I said that, God is going to strike me with trials. OHHHHHHHH no worries. I'll tell you about them :-)
I'll tell you about the president conf. another day. It was awesome. Welcome President Hall and his family to the mission! they're in for it! :-)
