HIYA!
Door shouldn't be made out of wood....or that gated metal stuff you know. HAHA. Well though there are pros and cons to knocking, the pros outweigh the cons by a long shot, and it's AWESOME.
Here's what President had to say if you care to read.
Dear Sisters and Elders of the Great California San Fernando Mission,
It has been so good to visit with many of you during interviews last week! I can’t wait to visit with the rest of you this week. I really enjoy spending a few moments with each one of you. These are the first interviews that we have had since Elder Don R. Clarke visited our mission. I have been so impressed as I have listened to the five goals that each of you wrote on the index cards and how working towards those goals has influenced your missions. I would say that the one thing that has impressed me most during these interviews is how much many of you have progressed. It has been so wonderful to see the progress that you are experiencing and how your faith is growing. I have also enjoyed hearing how many of you are truly developing a “Love to Find” as you love the people more and more. Thank you for all your efforts and dedication to be exceptional missionaries. I know the Lord is blessing you greatly and I can see it as we talk during the interviews.
I think it so important that we become exceptional missionaries now. While there are many reasons, including most importantly our purpose to bring souls unto Christ, another reason has to do with impacts from hastening the work. As the number of missionaries in our great mission continues to grow, we have a great need for exceptional trainers. This upcoming transfer we will have 25 new missionaries – 5 English speaking sisters, 7 Spanish speaking sisters, 10 English speaking elders and 3 Spanish speaking elders – two sisters from temple square, and I have not heard yet from the missionary department about missionaries waiting for visas! This is on top of the 26 of you that were asked to train last transfer! The Lord is truly hastening His work! So the need for exceptional trainer is great and many of you will be asked to train. Please prepare yourselves and pray for the new missionaries and for those who will be asked to train that we may all become truly exceptional missionaries who love the people!
I do love each and every one of you! I am grateful for your faithful service, your dedicated obedience and your love of the people. I know that the Lord will bless us all as we work together to help hasten His work in bringing souls unto Christ.
We love you all very much and pray daily for your safety and success,
President and Sister Hall

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I don't know what's happening yet if hna sanders will have her visa, but we'll see.
Oh parents, did you get hna Zepeda's letter? it was like in jan for new years of something...?
I've had so many spiritual experiences this week and I can't fit it all in here, but know that if we really want spiritualy experiences, all we have to do is ask for them. I they are the spiritual experiences that I will always remember in my life...rather than the birthday's or the swim meets or soccer games. Natural I remember some, but it is the spiritual lessons you never forget.
LOVE THIS TALK. Here's a quote:
"If we sincerely desire and strive to measure up to the high expectations of our Heavenly Father, He will ensure that we receive all the help we need, whether it be comforting, strengthening, or chastening. If we are open to it, needed correction will come in many forms and from many sources. It may come in the course of our prayers as God speaks to our mind and heart through the Holy Ghost (see D&C 8:2). It may come in the form of prayers that are answered no or differently than we had expected. Chastening may come as we study the scriptures and are reminded of deficiencies, disobedience, or simply matters neglected. It is a diligent, devoted effort on our part that calls forth this empowering and enabling grace, an effort that certainly includes submission to God’s chastening hand and sincere, unqualified repentance. Let us pray for His love-inspired correction."
Last week we had exchanges, which was inspired, and president's interveiws. It's been a week to truly remember.
May God bless you all.
Love,
Hna Arguello
